The Investor's Three-Point Checklist

When people ask what I look for in a business to invest in, the answer is simple: three things. First, the founder - nothing can overcome a winning or losing mindset. Second, the product - it must solve a real problem. Third, the market - it must be monetizable. Get all three right, and you'll succeed. Get two right, and maybe you'll succeed. Get only one, and you're unlikely to make it.

The toughest thing entrepreneurs face today

I don't think everybody's built for entrepreneurship. It requires a special spark, determination, and the ability to persist against all odds. Every entrepreneur reaches a point where they wonder, "Am I going to make it? Will this all be worth it?" The hardest part is pushing through that doubt and believing that what you're doing matters - and that you'll make it.

Legacy is what keeps us growing. We want to contribute to our country's skyline, to our country's development. We want to say we contributed to what makes this city great.

Buy when people are fearful and sell when they're greedy. Everyone does it in reverse. It's only a negative if you realize and crystallize it on the balance sheet.
